This book briefly details the introduction of the Noah's Ark ride into Great Britain, and the early manufacture of these rides. It gives a detailed history of the Orton and Spooner ride which was new to William Thurston Jnr in 1934, and was owned by Teddy Andrews from 1938 until 2005, when it was bought by Joby Carter to travel as part of Carter's Steam Fair. The meticulous restoration of the ride by Carters is depicted in words and colour photographs.
