Joe Shaw's Ark: Stuart Pitchforth recalls some memories of this well known Ark - Speedway, accompanied by photographs throughout its history from 1932. Thirlmere Revisited: Tommy Green provides several more photographs of the 1908 Thirlmere accident which was reported on in detail in the previous issue. Among the Dark Satanic Mills: Joseph Parsons takes a look at the pleasure grounds at Shipley Glenn, near Bradford, where the first amusement device was erected following the Saltaire exhibition of 1895. The history of the park is brought right up to the present day. Hall Collection: Several photographs from the Kenneth Hall collection, which were donated to the Fairground Society, are reproduced with detailed captions.
